EXAMINATIONS / ASSESSMENT POLICY

For the assessment of students’ academic capabilities this institution runs a compact system of exams and tests. The policy is as follows:

FOR BOARD CLASSES (9th & 10th)

Admission (Send-up) Test is held in December. Test series starts in February on the following scheme:

Quarter Syllabus Test (4 Tests)
Half Syllabus Test (2 Tests)
Full Syllabus Test
Selective Syllabus Test for Low Achievers

FOR NON-BOARD CLASSES

1st Bi-Monthly Test
Mid-Year Assessment
2nd Bi- Monthly Test
Final Assessment

Note

Weight-age will be given to the marks obtained in all assessments for declaration of position. Promotion to next level / grade will be based on final assessment. Students’ answer books of final examination are not returned to students. In case of reservation the answer book of any subject can be rechecked on payment of rechecking fee.
